Terms of Service

Arena (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is operated by the operator of Arena. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or take part in a debate. By using Arena you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at contact@thedebatearena.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

You agree not to use Arena to:

• post unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• disrupt debates, scrape, or attempt to break the Service's security;
• record or redistribute another participant's video/audio without consent.

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these rules.

You keep ownership of the content you post (debate contributions, comments, profile details). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for what you post.

Arena includes AI-generated debaters and AI moderation. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for discussion and entertainment. It is clearly labelled as AI-generated and is not professional advice.

Some features may require payment. Prices, billing cycles, and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding [3] months.

You may stop using Arena at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

Arena is operated from the Netherlands and hosted in India, so more than one legal system may be relevant. Governing law and jurisdiction will be stated here once the business is formally registered. In the meantime, please raise any dispute with us by email first — we would rather resolve it directly.
